Security requirements

 

We keep our office equipment and environment safe and well-organized.

We would appreciate it if you could follow a few security requirements in your day-to-day work.

Login and password

 

People directory

Your line manager will provide an additional letter with log-in details for both your DXC and Luxoft accounts. It will be shared with you on your first day.

 

Let's figure out how to protect your digital data. We have a "one password fits all" method, and you need to create your personal password just once.

 

After your first computer log-in, you should set your unique password (and you need to change it every 90 days).

 

The minimum password length is 14 characters. The password must meet complexity requirements and include any combination of at least 3 following points:

  • Uppercase letters
  • Lowercase letters
  • Digits
  • Special symbols

 

It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Use the company name in a password
  • Use your first or last name, date of birth, names of your relatives, names of pets, etc. as a password
  • Write the password somewhere and store it in a public place
  • Disclose your personal access passwords
  • Use your corporate domain account password on any public services. (Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)

 

After 5 failed log-in attempts, your account will be blocked for 30 minutes. To reset your password:

  • At the office: dial 3777 for further instructions
  • Out of the office: contact your manager to create a Service Desk request

 

After successfully logging into the Luxoft system, you can connect to DXC resources using your DXC credentials. If you encounter any issues with the DXC connection, you can initiate a ServiceDesk request using the following the link.

If you work from the office:

 

  • Lock your computer every time you need to leave your workplace
  • Keep your desk neat and clean and put away any documents and confidential information (passwords, bills, etc.)
  • Pick up printed material as soon as it is printed
  • Do not store any client-related or work-related information on your personal devices (laptop, tablet, or phone)
  • Use your office devices for work purposes only and in full compliance with our security policy and rules
  • Turn your phone/tablet on mute while at the office (respect your colleagues)
  • If you work in the Desk Sharing area, follow the rules of respect policy.

If you work from home:

 

  • Lock your computer every time you need to leave your home workplace
  • Do not share documents and confidential information (passwords, bills, etc.) with others
  • Do not store any client-related or work-related information on your personal devices (laptop, tablet, or phone)
  • Use your office devices for work purposes only and in full compliance with our security policy and rules.

The Service Desk can help you and your team in just a few clicks. It is a web-based service that helps manage and control issues and requests from company employees regardless of their geographical location.

  • Issues and consultation about corporate systems
  • Technical issues with hardware and equipment
  • Organization of permanent or temporary workplaces – e.g., solving issues related to furniture and facilities
  • HR services
  • Initiation of purchasing processes
  • Arrangement of delivery, reserving meeting rooms, and other front desk services
  • Special trainings

Workplace is the Luxoft corporate communications platform where you can find the company’s global and local news, internal tech communities, social/interest groups, and blog posts from all over the world. It is a great virtual space to share ideas, achievements, and updates with your colleagues from across the globe.

LuxRemote

Following global practices, Luxoft is supporting remote work conditions. When working remotely, you have the freedom to do your job when and where you want away from the distractions and productivity drains of an office. However, working from home brings its own challenges. The LuxRemote portal was initiated to show you how to overcome challenges and maintain a high level of productivity, motivation, and engagement while working remotely.

 

Here we offer a wide variety of materials (workshops, guidelines, e-learning, tips, life hacks, fun business games, instructions for effective collaboration and communication) tailored to personal and managerial needs.

Please keep in mind that not all Luxoft systems and tools are available remotely outside of the corporate network.

 

If you need to stay connected, you already have default VPN access to internal resources. The VPN service allows employees located outside of the office to reach internal resources from anywhere.

 

If you need VPN access to project and/or any other specific internal resources, you need to obtain approval and business justification from your manager and raise a Service Desk request.

Communication services

 

MS Teams can be used to discuss issues demanding an immediate response. For other cases, you can use email.
